The popular Mini Archi series of toys for design-conscious children is expanding with a new game set to launch this fall.

The “Mini Box” by Mini Archi is a modular construction game built from natural wood designed to stimulate children’s imaginations and encourage them to learn the basics of architecture by constructing their own houses.

The game consists of one main box closed by two sliding panels and two secondary boxes. It also features various colour elements which can be incorporated into the designs for visual effect.

A seemingly infinite number of combinations means the kit can be used to build hundreds of different houses.

The product is the latest in the series, which allows children to hone their sense of design composition by playing with a doll house with a difference.

The brainchild of Belgian parents who are architect-designers themselves, the series comprises a modular house, furniture and construction game all made from sustainable materials.

“Modular House” is a contemporary construction with minimalistic lines, featuring structural accessories such as stairs, pillars and a swimming pool.

The different elements can be used to create various rooms including a garage, a pool house, or a bedroom.

Panels can be used as inner walls or awnings, and color elements that could be used as sculptures or structural elements have been incorporated. The house can be filled with a 12-piece furniture collection made of recycled cardboard, which must be assembled manually.

The Mini Box will be available from September. — AFP Relaxnews
