Fingers crossed for singer to perform new material.

Fans of Demi Lovato or Lovatics listen up. The 22-year-old singer is coming our way on May 4 as she will be performing at KL Live in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. And if we’re lucky, the singer might even unveil new stuff from her yet-to-be-released fifth studio album.

Lovato began her entertainment career as a child actress in television series Barney & Friends. In 2009. she landed a lead role in the Disney Channel television series Sonny With A Chance. She cemented her status as a Disney darling with TV movies such as Camp Rock and Princess Protection Program.

She released her debut album Don’t Forget in 2008 and it spawned hits such as Get Back and La La Land. Lovato also recorded a version of Let It Go for Disney animated film Frozen.

In an interview with MTV last year, she revealed that she has begun recording her fifth album. “I’ve never been so sure of myself as an artiste when it comes down to confidence, but not only personal things, but exactly what I want my sound to be and what I know I’m capable of and this album will give me the opportunity to show people what I can really do,” she said.

Tickets to Lovato’s KL gig are priced at RM138, RM188 and RM388. All ticket tiers are for free standing areas. For more information, check out or
