Former One Direction member Liam Payne, who passed away today was reported to have been acting erratically before his death at the Casasur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Payne had travelled there to attend a concert by fellow bandmate Niall Horan about two weeks ago.

Witnesses stated that Payne was mostly seen with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.

He attended Horan's concert with her, and a viral video showed him with his arm wrapped around Cassidy's shoulder while enjoying the performance.

According to witnesses at the hotel, as reported by TMZ, Payne was seen smashing his laptop in the hotel lobby.

He had to be carried back to his room before tragically falling from the third-floor balcony, resulting in his death.

Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful, and it was reported that the damage Payne sustained was inconsistent with a typical fall from the third floor, indicating further complications during rescue efforts.

It has not yet been determined whether the death was accidental or intentional.

Police and first responders are currently at the hotel, where authorities have placed a red tent over his body as the investigation begins.

Horan's concert on Oct 3 took place at the Movistar Arena in Argentina, just nine minutes away from Payne's hotel.

Reports also suggested that the remaining former One Direction members, including Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, reunited at the show. – Sinar Daily
