Australian singer Kylie Minogue and American rocker Lenny Kravitz were delighted to see each other again at the Formula One (F1) Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024.

Minogue, 56, posted on social media on Sept 22 a video in which she and Kravitz were dancing towards each other before she leapt into his arms.

“Love love love @lennykravitz @lennykravitz @lennykravitz,” she wrote. “Both here at @f1 Singapore... what a time!!”

Kravitz, 60, commented under her post: “Love love love you Kylie.”

Rumours of romance swirled around the music stars in the early 1990s. Both were part of a star-studded line-up of the entertainment roster at the F1 race from Sept 20 to 22.

Minogue performed at the Padang Stage on Sept 21 and Wharf Stage on Sept 22, while Kravitz played his debut Singapore gig at the Padang Stage on Sept 22.

Kravitz posted on social media on Sept 23 a video with his fans, captioned: “Singapore. Miss you already. Can’t wait to come back.”

Minogue, whose hits include Spinning Around (2000) and Can’t Get You Out Of My Head (2001), also posted a photo of herself waving the chequered flag at the end of the race, which was won by British driver Lando Norris of current championship leaders McLaren.

“Someone pinch me. Wow, the chequered flag at the Singapore Grand Prix,” the two-time Grammy winner wrote. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
