Britney Spears is apparently enjoying life with no rules.
The pop star, 41, whose Instagram account went dark last Tuesday (Dec 6) and was revived two days later, returned to Instagram with a post Friday that celebrates her relatively new freedom from the conservatorship that had her under her father’s thumb for much of her career.
“Yep it’s my b-day all week and I know my Instagram has been down a few times but honestly I did the last two times myself !!! Oops ... I accidentally pressed wrong button,” the Oops!...I Did It Again singer captioned a video of her dancing sensually in a bright red bodysuit.
The clip shows her grooving in front of a massive Christmas tree and atop a collection of rose petals – at one point also launching her face into a cake – and then spreading the frosting over her body.
“And jolly Santa is on his way y’all !!!! My goal this year is to learn to be as COMFORTABLE with people as they are with me !!!!!” she continues.
“I want to go to a wedding this year, grab the mic, sing a song or two, and fall down eight times !!! It’s my first year in 15 years being treated as an equal and good God I didn’t know about this NO RULE THING !!!”
The video was posted a day after her husband, Sam Asghari, urged her fans to respect Spears’ privacy amid concern over her absence from public events of late.
