South Korean artiste Mina has been sharing photos on Instagram since Aug 4, and she's received encouraging messages from her followers.
While many fans wished her well and to stay strong in the comment section, more than a few hoped for her to stay away from social media for now.
One follower wrote: “... Take a break from Internet please!! We care for your mental health. Please take care. We love you.”
Another said: “Leave social media for your safety.”
Mina has 1.1 million followers on Instagram, and a total of 12 posts at the moment.
This comes after it was reported that the former AOA girl group member was hospitalised on July 29 after attempting suicide.
On July 30, Mina had closed her Instagram account only to reactivate it on Aug 3.
Before her hospitalisation, the 27-year-old singer had revealed that she received death wishes from haters online and had vowed to stay off social media.
Mina, whose full name is Kwon Min-Ah, disclosed last year that she had suffered from a decade of bullying and harassment from AOA leader Jimin.
This led to Jimin leaving the group, and retiring from the entertainment industry.
More recently too, 27-year-old Mina was linked to being a third party in a cheating scandal.
In the latest photo Mina uploaded on her Instagram (Aug 6), multiple scars on her wrist can be seen quite clearly. Mina had attempted suicide in the past as well.
