Ever wondered what it feels like to live like your favourite TV character?

Spanish interior designer Inaki Aliste Lizarralde has been mapping out the actual floorplans to some of TV’s most iconic living spaces for years.

The passion project started with his favourite TV character Frasier’s apartment on the popular sitcom of the same name, he shares in an interview with Fast Company.

Before long, friends were asking him to recreate the layout of their favourite TV characters like Monica and Chandler and Joey’s apartment on Friends, Jess’s loft on New Girl and Jessica Jones’ living and work space.

He also makes renderings of older shows like The Golden Girls, Little House On The Prairie and Magnum, P.I.

After watching a show, he says it takes 20 to 30 hours to come up with the blueprint.

The process includes making a rough sketch of the living quarters, then fitting the layout to the right dimensions and proportions.

Finally, he adds in furniture, fabrics, colours and other final details.

Have a look at some of his works (@ializar on Instagram) and who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to live like your TV character?
