The classic Brothers Grimm story about a sister and a brother who end up trapped in a witch’s home, with the woman eyeing them as food, is no fairy tale material. It’s rightly grim, and that is exactly the tone the film Gretel & Hansel has adapted.
The trailer to this upcoming title has a horror movie vibe to it. Directed by Oz Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter), it stars Sophia Lillis (It films), newcomer Sammy Leakey and Alice Krige (TV’s The OA).
