Ran out of shows to watch? We’ve got you covered. Here are five shows to sink your teeth into this September.

This new animated series is not exactly a kid’s show. Undone opens with jaded 28-year-old Alma who is just going through the motions. Then a car accident jolts her out of life’s monotony.

She begins seeing her dead father who awakens her to the realisation that she has the ability to travel through time. Alma’s father reveals he was murdered and asks her to go back in time and help him stop his murderer.

Early reviews are in and critics are full of praise for the series. “What we saw was often astonishing,” commented after watching its first two episodes. Forbes described it as "indescribably great television."

Rosa Salazar and Bob Odenkirk star.

Undone premieres Sept 13 on Amazon Prime Video.

Hero Ink

I remember enjoying watching Miami Ink, which followed the daily goings-on of a tattoo shop in Miami, when it first aired back in 2005. More than just the tattoos, the show captured the stories of the people getting them.

Similarly, Hero Ink sees tattoo artists going about their day at Prison Break Tattoos in Texas. What’s different is its tattoo artists here were all first responders and so are the people who frequent the tattoo parlour.

Police officers, firefighters, paramedics and more share some of their most harrowing moments on the job.

Hero Ink premieres Sept 9 at 8.40pm on Crime and Investigation Network (Astro Ch 732).

Inspired by real events, this eight-episode series follows teenager Marie who tells the police she was sexually assaulted by a masked man who entered her home. But investigators felt her story didn’t add up and concluded she made it up.

Then, hundreds of miles away, similar cases involving a masked man crop up. Two female detectives, played by Toni Collette and Merritt Wever, spot the pattern and embark on a journey to uncover the truth.

Unbelievable premieres Sept 13 on Netflix.

My Ambulance

Tantawan has the magical ability to summon her boyfriend, emergency doctor Paeng, whenever she wants and he will rush to her side.

She believes her ability comes from their love for each other. But what happens when she wakes up one day after a car accident with no memory of Paeng at all?

Sunny Suwanmethanont and Mai Davika Hoorne star in this Thai series.

My Ambulance premieres Sept 6 on dimsum.

Mr. Fighting

Ten years ago, actor Hao Ze Yu was at the height of his popularity after taking part in a talent competition.

As the years went by, the star’s popularity takes a dip. He meets an unlikely group of people who team up to help him revive his career including the unemployed Fu Zi, who is determined to become his agent.

The 45-episode drama stars Deng Lun and Sandra Ma.

Mr. Fighting is available on dimsum.
