Hollywood actor Jeff Bridges on Thursday raised the hopes of fans that a sequel to the movie The Big Lebowski is on the horizon by tweeting a video of himself in the role of the main character.
In the 15-second video, Bridges, 69, is dressed as The Dude, the character he played in the 1998 movie. He doesn't speak, but lowers his sunglasses and chuckles strangely before walking off camera.

"Can't be living in the past, man," Bridges wrote in the tweet. "Stay tuned." The video also announced the date of this year's Super Bowl, February 3, fuelling speculation on social media that the sequel will be announced in one of the game's commercials.
There has been speculation about a sequel since the 20th anniversary of the film in October when Bridges reunited with other stars of The Big Lebowski. – dpa
