Malaysian rapper Joe Flizzow has been named Best South-East Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs), ahead of the live show airing at 3am (Malaysian time) on Nov 5.

The 38-year-old Malaysian beat out nominees Afgan (Indonesia), IV of Spades (Philippines), Minh Hang (Vietnam), Slot Machine (Thailand), The Sam Willows (Singapore) and Twopee Southside (Thailand) for the title.
