The European Union Film Festival offers 21 movies in its 19th edition

The European Union Film Festival (EUFF) returns with a selection of 21 movies from 17 countries, a presentation that Maria Castillo Fernandez, ambassador and head of the EU Delegation to Malaysia, describes as “a good example of unity in diversity”.

“We are looking forward to bringing a bit of Europe here, and to show that there is much common ground that can be found among the differences. Europe has never been just one, but many. Through EUFF, we hope not just to promote Europe’s cultural diversity but also diversity at the centre of international cultural relations, which is an important part of the EU’s role as a global player,” she says.
