From landing his first acting role ever on this year's blockbuster Crazy Rich Asians to starring alongside acting heavyweight Matthew McConaughey in his newly-announced film project, Henry Golding's career has been on a meteoric rise.
Golding will act opposite McConaughey, who took home a Best Actor Oscar in 2014 for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club, and Kate Beckinsale in Toff Guys, a crime drama directed by Guy Ritchie.
According to Variety, Toff Guys "explores the collision between European 'old money' and the modern marijuana industry. It follows a British drug lord attempting to cash out on his highly profitable empire by selling it off to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires."
Toff Guys marks Golding's fifth film project after the summer hit Crazy Rich Asians, mystery-thriller A Simple Favor (currently in cinemas), the upcoming indie drama Monsoon and holiday romance flick Last Christmas.
