UPDATE: Where to watch the World Cup semi-finals and final

Fifa World Cup officially kicks off with its first match between Russia and Saudi Arabia tonight (June 14).

RTM has confirmed it will be airing 41 matches (28 live and 13 delayed) across TV1 and TV2. More matches may be added.

Meanwhile, Astro will air all 64 matches. All Malaysians can watch 29 live matches and 12 delayed matches for free through the Astro Go app.

To watch all 64 matches, Astro has two World Cup dedicated channels in HD (Astro Ch 823 and 824) and two in SD (Astro Ch 821 and 822). The fees vary according to the various packages available. Find out more here.

The pay TV service has also introduced the Stadium Astro VR app which allows viewers to experience the prestigious football event in virtual reality.

Below is a guide to where and when to watch these matches during the group stages (we will update other stages – round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals – at a later date).

The timings shown here are for the live telecast of the matches only (delayed telecast times are as indicated). It does not include timings for re-runs of the matches.
