British adventurer Bear Grylls is known for his survival skills in the wild as seen on many of his TV shows such as Man Vs Wild and Worst Case Scenario. But it is his latest show, Running Wild With Bear Grylls, that fans love as the 41-year-old host brings A-list celebrities such as Zac Efron, Ben Stiller and Channing Tatum on a two-day trip to the wilderness.
But a few months ago, Grylls was surprised when a request came in from a “celebrity” to join his show. “We’ve gotten approached by the White House for us to consider taking US President Barack Obama on an adventure to Alaska,” he said in a transcript provided by Discovery Channel. “I almost didn’t really believe it.”
