Wes Craven, the writer and director who created a string of horror films in the 1980s and 1990s that scared us silly, died earlier this week from brain cancer. He was 76.
Throughout his four-decade-long entertainment career, Craven was credited for directing 29 movies, almost all of which were of the horror genre. He did have one or two dramas though, which included biopic Music Of The Heart (1999), starring Meryl Streep.
