Florence's Uffizi Gallery is showing illustrations from the Divine Comedy to mark the 700th anniversary of the death of author Dante Alighieri.
The illustrations, by painter Federico Zuccari, date to the end of the 16th century and can be viewed online. The digital exhibition features dozens of images from the epic poem, accompanied by explanations in Italian, with English texts due to follow.
