Two hundred and fifty years ago, the great German composer and pianist Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) was born in Bonn, Germany.

In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) will be releasing an audiobook on Dec 17 comprising a series of six podcasts on Beethoven, his work and his legacy, as part of the Discover Beethoven campaign.
