Streaming event: love in the time of Merdeka

To celebrate Merdeka Day, KL-based theatre company Liver & Lung Productions will release Malaya Relived: Merdeka, an immersive historical musical about a formidable Indian-Malayan diplomat who begins a love affair with a British journalist at the height of the anti-colonial Malayan movement in 1957.

The recording of the musical will start streaming on YouTube at 2pm on Aug 31. The show will stay online until 2pm on Sept 12.
