For over two decades, the Reader’s Paradise bookstore at Ampang Point in Selangor has served as a destination for avid readers, who have enjoyed its old school book rental service and browsed through its used books section, which is usually well-stocked with unique books left behind by the expatriate community in the nearby Ampang area.
Unfortunately, due to tough economic times caused by the pandemic outbreak, this bookstore will be closing down next month. A storewide sale, announced last week, will see books heavily discounted as Reader's Paradise staff pack up the business in the coming weeks.
