The Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) will be bringing a pop-up version of its ArtAid series to the upcoming Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Gala Dinner at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur on Dec 16.

At the gala night, this small but deeply meaningful collection of original art pieces by Malaysian artists like Ahmad Zakii Anwar, Bayu Utomo Radjikin, CN Liew, Jalaini Abu Hassan, Kow Leong Kiang, Shia Yih Yiing and Sofia Harun will be on display and sale at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur's ballroom foyer.

ArtAid is an annual charity art exhibition hosted by MAF.

Since making its debut in 2015, the ArtAid exhibition series has successfully raised more than RM800,000 for MAF.

The funds collected, to date, has enabled the foundation to expand its services to people living with HIV by providing livelihood support, empowerment training and financial assistance schemes to improve their access to life-saving medication.

Traditionally held as a five-day group exhibition during the month of September, the exhibition typically features an exciting mixture of established artists such as Ahmad Zakii Anwar, Chan Fee Meng, Nor Mahnun and Jalaini Abu Hassan, alongside young up-and- coming artists who represent the future of the art landscape in Malaysia.

All purchases of the artworks at the Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Award Gala Dinner will be entitled to tax exemption receipt by MAF.
