House: Saigon House, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam – Built using old materials found in local scrap markets, this house was awarded for its “playful and communal” approach to living. Design by a21 Studio.
Civic and Community: Cam Thanh Community House, Hoi An, Vietnam – Inspired by traditional courtyards, areca gardens, and hanging vines, this 1+1>2 International Architecture JSC project won for being “a beautifully simple building designed for the community, by the community”.
