Hang Li Po: Aswara puts traditional Chinese dance to the fore

The dance faculty of Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan (Aswara) is putting Chinese dance under the spotlight with its production Hang Li Po, which opens at Black Box, Aswara campus, Kuala Lumpur on May 7.

“The show is an ambitious production that highlights the beauty and diversity of Chinese dances. I have been planning a long time to do this and finally we have a prototype in place,” says Joseph Gonzales, Aswara Dance Company artistic director/choreographer.
