Star Trek's 'City on the Edge of Forever' finally told the right way

William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy with all of time and space in front of them.

Fans of the first Star Trek will finally get to read the original teleplay for one of its most seminal TV episodes – the way the story was meant to be.

If you’re a fan of the original Star Trek, you likely have fond memories of City on the Edge of Forever, a time-travel story from the fertile mind of sci-fi great - and comic book fan - Harlan Ellison. It’s a true classic. Now IDW Publishing has announced a comic book miniseries based on Ellison’s original teleplay, which is said to be quite different from the televised version.
