THE reborn editions of Frommer’s travel guides will be lighter and quicker reads, and sold at nearly half the price of their former incarnation.

Founder Arthur Frommer (pic) declared in a particularly exuberant and somewhat hyperbolic blog post sometime back that the company’s new “EasyGuides” will spark a “second revolution in the publishing of travel”.
