Calling all bookworms!

ATTENTION mummies, daddies, uncles, aunts, all grownups everywhere – especially if you have children aged six to 12 in your family or know some young ’uns: Penang’s BOOKworms group is inviting you and the kids to have some fun with storybooks and storytellers this Sunday. A group of eight children – yes, those cute faces in the picture above are theirs – have gallantly volunteered to share short readings from their favourite storybooks with anyone who’s willing to stop, listen, and enter the wonderful world of tales. And there will be other fun book- and reading-related activities happening, too, so wriggle your way over on Sunday!
