Review: Blackwater Val

I know many people who would describe small towns with words like “quiet”, “slow”, or even “tranquil”. They consider small towns to be peaceful, remote places, far away from the stresses of civilisation, places where nothing much happens.

To these people I say: have you never seen a horror movie? All sorts of crazy whacked out stuff happens in such places! As we’ve seen in works like Carrie, It, Children Of The Corn, In The Mouth Of Madness, Stranger Things, or Something Wicked This Way Comes, supernatural terrors like nice little towns in the picturesque countryside where they can carry out their torturing and killings without fear of modern law enforcement.
