I have visibly open pores. When I use clay masks to minimise them, my skin gets rough. Why is that? I’m really dumbfounded because I’ve no other skin problems except for the open pores. Please help. – Intan
According to Erinn Tan, Clarins trainer, the situation above happens mainly due to skin dehydration, which is why the texture of the skin becomes rough. There are many different types of masks in the market, and they all have different functions and will have a different effect on the skin surface. For example, the ones that remain creamy throughout are not as dehydrating as those that dry up.
