What's on where

AFTER making a grand debut at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in 2005 and touring the globe for over four years to sold-out audiences, the award-winning Video Games Live (VGL) show is set to make its first ever local stop this Saturday at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Far from just geeks, fan boys and Cosplay divas, the VGL concert series is the latest sign that music written for video games has hit the mainstream. Billed as one of the greatest video game-theme concerts to ever be produced, VGL promises to be a far-out experience which seamlessly blends the music, magic and energy of electronic gaming culture. Created and produced by industry veterans and world famous video game music composers, Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall, top orchestras and choirs around the world have performed the show against a backdrop of exclusive video game footage.
