THREE tiny stars awarded to restaurants are such a big deal that they can even elevate honoured chefs to near-celestial status in some countries. We’re talking about the coveted Michelin stars, of course!  

Unknown to most, Michelin Guide scouts have been lurking in this part of the world, – yes, even in Kuala Lumpur! – evaluating the food scene. They are looking into the possibility of the renowned gastronomic guide extending its publication to this region.
