When HSBC Bank Malaysia called Kung Suan Ai (right) to say they were treating her to an extravagant dining experience, her first instinct was to decline the offer. This despite their telling her she could bring 10 guests.
As director of advertising and promotions at Mid Valley Megamall, Kung has a lot on her plate and usually says no to social outings. But her 2006 resolution is to “stop and smell the roses”, so she said “Yes” to HSBC.
