A FRENCH brasserie, bar and terrace at Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre is adding a spin to afternoon tea with its “Garden Allure Tea Soiree”.

The elegant affair at Le Midi combines the charm of a Parisian garden with breathtaking city views from its Level 32 perch.

It is available every Tuesday to Sunday, from 3pm to 6pm.

A feast for the senses, the tea-time treats are artfully arranged on a wooden tray, creating a truly Instagram-worthy shot.

The selection includes savoury and sweet treats, as well as scones.

The savoury section comprises delicate bites including Mini Smoked Salmon and Egg Croissant, Pesto Caprese Sandwich and Japanese Egg Sando.

The sweet delights comprise Chocolate and Coffee Pecan Mousse, Strawberry Shortcake, Raspberry Choux with Fruit Jelly, and Mango and Pandan Cake.

Also served are Exotic Fruit Salsa with Lemon Curd Meringue in a glass jar, alongside must-have scones with clotted cream and jam.

“Our afternoon tea is a celebration of French patisserie artistry, blending seasonal flavours with a touch of whimsy,” said the hotel’s executive sous chef (pastry) Muhammad Norsalam.

“Every detail, from the presentation to the taste, is crafted to transport guests to a Parisian garden in the sky.”

The afternoon tea is priced at RM168+ per set for two. It is available until Sept 30.
