SANTA’s Bake Shop, a life-sized gingerbread house, is a major focal point at Sunway Resort Hotel in Petaling Jaya.
The hotel’s master bakers have crafted an edible masterpiece big enough for guests to step inside and discover festive treats which cater to all their Christmas gifting needs.
This 3.65m confectionery marvel fills the air with the delightful aroma of warm gingerbread at the hotel lobby.
When guests pass its icing- laden entrance, they will see the walls are adorned with Christmas biscuits, cakes, pies and eclairs, making it an Instagram-worthy spot.
The hotel is offering exclusive Christmas ornaments, priced at RM30 each, with all proceeds benefitting Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home which aids abandoned and neglected children.
The ornaments made from recycled batik materials were handsewn by artisans from marginalised communities.
They were made in collaboration with social enterprise Batik Boutique.
Alternatively, guests can contribute RM50 to add their own decorative touches to Santa’s Bake Shop with coloured icing.
