Japanese restaurant’s revamped menu presents rich and authentic flavours

JAPANESE restaurant Kazuma is bringing its latest additions for diners at its premises in Wisma Concorde, Kuala Lumpur.

Curated by Japanese chef Tsutomu Haneishi and his team, the new menu promises authentic flavours at value- for-money prices.

It offers the freshest and finest quality food prepared with traditional Japanese cooking techniques.

Kazuma’s revamped menu includes an array of Japanese classics such as Special Nigiri Sushi Tokujyou (assorted nigiri sushi with combination of fresh tuna, yellowtail fish, salmon, scallop, sweet shrimp, unagi and salmon roe), Oden Moriawase (Japanese fish cake stew with radish, hard-boiled egg and konnyaku), Unagi Yanagawa (simmered eel and vegetables with egg) and Gindara Shioyaki or Teriyaki (grilled black cod fish with salt or teriyaki sauce).

There are also Menchi Katsu (minced beef cutlet), Gyuniku Yasai Itame (stir-fried beef and assorted vegetables) and Yasai No Nimono (assorted simmered vegetables).

Busy corporate executives can opt for Teishoku sets serving grilled chicken, grilled mackerel or grilled salmon with salt or teriyaki sauce.

A staple option starts from RM35nett and comes with chawanmushi, steamed rice, miso soup, salad, pickles and fruits.

The Kazuma Vegetarian Bento is an option for vegetarians.

The set includes tofu steak, assorted vegetable tempura, pumpkin croquette, simmered vegetables, futomaki sushi and inari sushi.

In addition, diners can tuck into Japanese signature creations such as homemade Saba Ichiya Boshi (grilled seasoned and dried mackerel), Kazuma Seafood Salad (assorted raw fish with seaweed, vegetables and fried noodle), Sukiyaki Nabe (stewed sirloin beef and vegetables with sukiyaki soup base) and perfectly Grilled Kushiyaki.

The revamped menu also offers a wide variety of appetisers, salads, sashimi and soup-based dishes.

Kazuma is open from 11.30am to 3pm and from 6pm to 10pm (Mondays to Saturdays).

It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
