Marrybrown’s ‘Egg-stra Ong’ burger combo from the festive menu.
MARRYBROWN is presenting an “egg-citing” and “egg-stra ong” meal this Chinese New Year.
It is also the first quick-service restaurant to launch Nestle’s refreshing Pink Lemonade that will go hand-in-hand with the new festive menu.
A meal at Marrybrown comes in three combo options: the “Egg-stra Ong” burger combo, “Egg-stra Ong” chicken combo and the “Egg-stra Ong” burger and chicken combo.
To add oomph, Marrybrown is also turning its “Egg-stra Ong” burger meal pink to welcome a prosperous year filled with lots of affection.
Marrybrown chief executive officer Datuk Joshua Liew said it was brought back by popular demand.
“Given that Chinese New Year this year falls close to Valentine’s Day, we want to open the doors to a prosperous new year with a sweet yet playful theme.”
He said Marrybrown’s “Egg-stra Ong” pink burgers served as a symbol of love, compassion and fun.
They are also designed to add colour to the meal, alongside Nestle’s Pink Lemonade.
All promotional meals come with a serving of Marrybrown’s rich and creamy salted egg sauce, which was a hit when introduced to Malaysian customers last year.
The “Egg-stra Ong” burger meal comes with fries, while the “Egg-stra Ong” chicken combo includes mashed potato and vegetable salad.
Priced from RM15, the “Egg-stra Ong” meals is accompanied by a cup of Nestle’s Pink Lemonade that offers a refreshing lemon taste with a twist of lychee.
“Although Malaysia is now in its second movement control order, this is our way of bringing positivity to others and a reminder that we can still find ways to rejoice, especially during happy occasions such as Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day, ” said Liew.
