VALENTINE’S Day is just around the corner and restaurants have pulled out all the stops to make the occasion a memorable one.
Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s Coffee House restaurant will have a special buffet dinner to celebrate the day of love.
Its executive chef Rossham Rusli, who has 27 years of experience under his belt, and his team have designed a scrumptious, eclectic menu to please diners with different taste.
The appetisers comprise mouth-watering offerings such as oysters imported from New Zealand, smoked Norwegian salmon, grilled mackerel fillet with Moroccan dressing and prawn cocktail salad, to name a few.
There are also delectable hot soups such as Crabmeat with Eight Treasure Soup and Prawn Bisque with Cheese Croutons.
The meat of the Baked Cajun Chicken was juicy and tender.
Rossham’s must-try dishes are Beef in Spicy Mongolian Sauce and Smokey Barbecued Lamb.
The Salmon in Consomme was another highly recommended dish to try.
The Claypot Lamb Briyani with condiments was made with Rossham’s personal recipe.
Another noteworthy dish was the Roasted Chicken with Percik Sauce, best eaten with rice. The chicken was moist and the sauce was delightfully creamy.
At the dessert section, there was Ginger Chocolate Cheesecake and Mango Tiramisu, to name a few.
Rossham said this year’s theme for Valentine’s Day was familial Asian.
“This is because people now celebrate Valentine’s Day with their families and friends.
“There will be about 100 dishes at the buffet, ” he said.
The buffet is available on Feb 14 from 6pm to 10.30pm at RM108 nett per person.
