With an eclectic array of holiday dishes from around the world, this year’s Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner at Swez Brasserie will be a blast.
New executive chef Alex Leong and his team will whet appetites with starters like Seared Scallops with Lentils, Gimbab, Lamb Rilettes, Chicken Liver Terrine, Traditional Gravlax, and Cured Salmon with Pineapple and Palm Syrup. The vanilla-scented Scallop Escabeche, Sweet Harissa Chilli Prawn Cocktails, Bouillabaisse and Kimchi Soup with Clams and Tofu are also noteworthy.
All these spring from Chef Leong’s experience in Italian, Chinese and Asian flavours, as well as his determination to give guests memorable experiences through food.
“The love for food is universal, but to dine and share the table with family and friends - that is what’s important, ” he shared.
The highlight Festive Roasted Turkey is sure to go down well with all in the family.
So too the Rock Salt Baked Crusted Whole Salmon and New Orleans Jambalaya.
Continue filling the tummy with Braised Beef Ribs with Sweet Blueberry Chutney, Grilled Tiger Prawns with Ratatouille, Duck Leg Confit, and Poached Salmon with Mornay Sauce.
Traditional Christmas Pudding, Mini Mince Pies, Raspberry and Cheese Yule Logs, assorted Christmas cookies, and authentic English Fruit Cake ensure sweet endings.
This spread is priced at RM128. Seniors above 60 pay only RM89, while children aged six to 12 get 50% off.
The night features a live band and Santa Claus appearance.
On Christmas Day, there are equally scrumptious Buffet Lunch and Dinner spreads - the former priced at RM88 adults and RM62 seniors, and the latter at RM118 adults and RM82 seniors. Children also get 50% off.
There is a clown appearance for lunch, and live band for dinner.
Santa would also make the rounds. Both dinner spreads are from 7pm to 10pm, while lunch is at noon to 2.30pm.
