THE well-loved sundown buffet spread at Planter’s at The Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas is all about creating memories with friends, families and business associates over the break of fast.

More than 100 dishes featuring contemporary interpretations, timeless classics and signature specialities are not to be missed when in this part of Kedah.

The Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas sous chef Dzahir Hassan has lined up three rotational menus presenting crowd-pleasing favourites that many look out for during the fasting month.

The array of Malaysian delights are not only infused with rich flavours and aromatic spices but the chef has also opted for traditional recipes to take guests on a nostalgic epicurean voyage.

Fresh seafood, sumptuous grilled meats including satay, curries, soups cooked in the kawah and live action stalls are to be expected when dining at the resort.

The culinary brigade will be dishing up local and international flavours until April 21.

The myriad local dishes include Ayam Panggang Percik, Kambing Rebung Madu, Soto Padang Berempah, Ketam Bercili, Daging Salai Masak Lemak, Bubur Lambuk Utara and mutton briyani.

The buffet spread will be complemented by a wide selection of pastries and dates as well as Raya biscuits, dodol, pandan cheesecake, durian eclairs, creme caramel, bubur pisang sago and apple crumble tart.

Guests can also enjoy an exclusive resort-style al-fresco dining experience in the breezy open air at private gazebos that overlook the largest three-tiered infinity pool on the island, with spectacular views of the majestic Andaman Sea.

Additionally, throughout the fasting month, a special pre-dawn sahur menu is available via in-room dining for the convenience of guests.
