Scrumptious signature dishes for breaking fast

Dorsett Grand Subang is offering a range of signature dishes across Malaysia, freshly made daily by its team of culinary maestros for the ultimate breaking of fast experience with family, friends and business associates.

The buffet themed “CitaRasa Malaysia” is available daily from March 23 until April 20 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

It is priced at RM168 nett for adults, RM138 nett (senior citizens aged 60 and above) and RM90 nett (children aged six to 12).Early bird savings are available until March 20, priced at RM130 nett (adult price only). Advance booking is a must before dining.

Add a Musang King durian to your iftar experience. Freshly harvested by Agro Best Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the durians are delivered daily from the land of Musang King durians – Raub, Pahang – to the hotel.

Indulge in the delectable taste of “the king of fruits” for just RM130 nett per whole fruit; each fruit weighs between 1.3kg and 1.5kg.

Meanwhile, Dorsett Kuala Lumpur will take you on another unique journey to tantalise your taste buds at its all-day dining restaurant, Checkers Cafe’s Ramadan Seantero Dunia.

Newly appointed executive Chef Mohd Azmi’s menu features iftar signatures from all around the world.

Dishes that will whet your appetite include lamb shakshouka (Morocco) which is a dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, bukhari chicken (Uzbekistan) and the mouth-watering bamia (Egypt) which is a meat and okra stew.

Another delight is mashuai (Muscat) which is a speciality dish made by spit- roasting a whole fish which has been rubbed with oil and spices.

Completing the dining experience are other Middle Eastern appetisers, mains and desserts including tharid lamb chickpea which is a Turkish signature bread soup that is made from crumbled flatbread moistened with broth or stew.

The “Ramadan Seantero Dunia” offering is available daily from March 27 until April 20 from 6.30pm to 10pm, priced at RM138 nett (adults) and RM118 nett (children aged four to 12 and senior citizens aged 60 and above). Advance booking is a must before dining.
