Premium yee sang and black truffle duck make a comeback


The Resort Cafe’s premium Gold Leaf, Hokkaido Scallop and Salmon Roe Yee Sang is back to delight diners this year.

The Resort Cafe at Sunway Resort Hotel in Selangor has prepared an exceptional Chinese New Year menu.

Crowd favourite from last year, the premium Gold Leaf, Hokkaido Scallop and Salmon Roe Yee Sang, makes a comeback, complemented with Asian pear, rose apple, jackfruit and avocado oil for added indulgence.

There are also the Lobster Claw, Salmon and Snow White Jellyfish Yee Sang, Soft Shell Crab and Snow White Jellyfish Yee Sang.

Customers can also sample the vegetarian Wasabi Microgreen with Bee Pollen Yee Sang.

Prices start from RM118 for a medium portion and from RM178 for large. The yee sang is available for dine-in and takeaway.

It comes with a choice of traditional plum dressing or chef’s signature wasabi plum dressing.

The signature Roasted Black Truffle Duck makes a comeback as well at the Prosperous Buffet spread.

The ebony-coloured duck is marinated in a special stock infused with aromatic herbs. Then it is stuffed with truffle paste, shallots, fresh orange and black garlic, and roasted to perfection for a tender and juicy finish.

Diners can also look forward to fresh seafood in the “Prosperity Basket” which offers individually steamed grouper, salmon, barramundi, coral trout, blue river prawn, Hokkaido scallop, baby abalone and squid.

Other buffet highlights include Sichuan-Style Roast Leg of Lamb, Roasted Garlic Chicken, Squirrel Fish Songshu Guiyu, Deep-Fried Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Steamed Chicken with Hawthorn and served with Fermented Sang Har Chilli Sauce, Roasted Prime Beef Ribeye, Butter Oat Crayfish, Black Pepper Mud Crab and Crispy Prawn Ball with Sang Har Chilli Sauce.

For desserts, try the Koi Fish Jelly filled with Red Bean and Lotus Paste, Mandarin Cake, Sponge Cake Roll with Orange Cremeux, pineapple tarts, Chinese cookies, nian gao and flavoured macarons.

The Prosperous Buffet lunch is available until Feb 5, priced at RM198nett per adult. Dinner is available on selected dates until Feb 5 at RM238nett per adult.
