Restaurant presents jade perch steamed three ways

Xin Cuisine at Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur is featuring jade perch in its menu until Nov 30.

DINERS at Xin Cuisine, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur are in for a splendid treat as the restaurant will introduce an exclusive jade perch dish in its menu throughout November.

This unique fish species is also known as fei chui pan in Cantonese.

It is a popular fish in Asian countries and is extraordinarily rich in Omega-3 oils.

Jade perch gets its name from the distinctive greenish colour along the top of the fish’s body when light is reflected off its scales.

Xin Cuisine is presenting the ingredient in three cooking styles — Steamed Jade Perch with Supreme Soy Sauce, Steamed Jade Perch with Beancurd Stick and Black Fungus as well as Steamed Jade Perch with Special Assam Sauce.

Steaming is one of the best cooking methods to bring out the freshness and natural flavours of the fish.

The promotion is available for lunch and dinner daily, until Nov 30. It is priced from RM68nett per number (fish).
