Set menus highlight local heritage, giving back to needy


Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is promoting the wonders of local heritage through Ramadan flavours at JP Teres.

GRAND Hyatt Kuala Lumpur invites diners to take in the wonders of our local heritage through the bountiful flavours one could have at home or at JP Teres.

In partnership with Malaysian fashion designer Jovian Mandagie, the hotel has envisioned its Ramadan promotion to set sail differently this time around, with a meal for the eyes and taste buds.

Exclusively available on its online store for deliveries and takeaways, the buka puasa set menus each come encased in an exclusive Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur x Jovian designer thermal bag.

These set menus, designed for a group of four to 10, feature some all-time favourites such as rendang daging, bubur lambuk daging and Kambing Bakar Berempah.

Prices range from RM436 nett for a set for four to RM1,890 for a set for 10 (not inclusive of delivery).

Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will also honour selected underprivileged families with a giving-back initiative.

With every set menu sold, the hotel is contributing a set meal to a family in need to demonstrate the importance of care and generosity towards the underprivileged.

Meanwhile, the Sajian Warisan buffet at JP Teres is an ideal choice for a joyous buka puasa affair.

Aiming to enhance one’s local gastronomic experience, it offers a flavourful spread with over 60 dishes.

An “assisted buffet” set-up extends from the indoor to outdoor dining areas, featuring numerous live stations that include grilled seafood, kambing bakar carving station, laksa, Pantai Timur specials, rojak buah station and over 20 dessert selections.

The menu was curated by three chefs, with emphasis on treasured Malaysian heritage while also preserving sustainability and authenticity elements when it comes to sourcing the finest local produce.

The Ramadan buffet at JP Teres is available until May 12, from 7pm to 11pm.

It is priced between RM158 nett and RM178 nett per adult as well as RM79 nett to RM89 nett per child (depending on the dates).
