There are a dozen cooking stations where guests can order dishes a la minute or have morsels plated up by chefs to ensure food hygiene and safety.
Appetisers are a heady mix of kerabu, rojak and mixed greens. Seafood on ice aficionados will be pleased to find slipper lobsters, prawns, mussels and scallops among the offerings.
Flavours heat up at the Bakar-Bakar section where freshly grilled lamb chops, sausages, beef, chicken, pomfret, mackerel and stingray are dished out.
Nearby, the Local Street Delights section offers Oyster Omelette, Seafood Curry and Pasembur with the Noodle station serving Wantan Mee and the mouthwatering Mee Kuah Daging Utara.
Follow your noses to the Penang Char Koay Teow stall for a must-have plate of the stir-fried flat noodles. Equally aromatic are the lamb, beef and chicken satay sizzling away over hot coals. Lather on peanut sauce and you are good to go.
There are also Hainanese Chicken Rice and Apom Balik. While dishes are portioned out by chefs, there is no limit to how much you can have so feel free to go back for seconds and thirds.
Adding to the variety is a Pasta station. Choose your pasta and condiments, then stand back as the chefs cook your choice Aglio Olio, Puttanesca, Carbonara or Pesto- style.
For dessert, there are sweets such as Pandan Cake, Orange Panna Cotta, Mango Cheese Tart, Green Tea Puff, Peach Mousse and Kiwi Mousse alongside assorted Malay Kuih, Ais Kacang, Cendol and ice cream. There is also free flow of Teh and Kopi Tarik.
The resort’s F&B executive assistant manager Jegan Selvarajan said of the promotion, “We came up with this concept so guests can still feast to their heart’s content while adhering to the SOP.”
