GUESTS at Royale Chulan Penang are sure to feel an abundance of joy this Chinese New Year as the hotel’s talented chefs have prepared an array of bountiful, festive feasts.

There are Chinese New Year 8-Course Dinner Packages available from now until Feb 8, priced from RM688+ per table of 10 persons. A minimum booking of three tables is required.

Each set menu features a different lineup of scrumptious specialties such as the Lobster Prosperity Platter to usher in all things good and auspicious.

It also includes Yee Sang, the seasonal must-have. Here, there are three delectable variations of the popular delicacy — Vegetarian Yee Sang, Salmon Yee Sang and Abalone Yee Sang.

The Yee Sang is also available for takeaways with prices ranging from RM88nett to RM188nett.

Royale Chulan Penang also offers guests the option of ushering in the Lunar New Year over sumptuous buffet spreads at the Sri Tanjung Cafe.

Round up your loved ones for the Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner buffet on Jan 24, the eve of the celebration. The dinner is priced at RM128nett for adults and RM78nett for both seniors and children.

Otherwise, make a date on Jan 26, the second day of Chinese New Year, for the Longevity Buffet Brunch and a Longevity Buffet Dinner.

Both are priced at RM98nett for adults and RM50nett for seniors and children. A Buy 3 Free 1 promotion applies.

All spreads are specially created for the occasion and feature popular items such as Roast Duck, Baked Black Soy Bean Seabass, Double-Boiled Black Chicken Soup, Wok-Fried Prawns with Oriental Sauce and seafood on ice.

The brunch is served from 11.30am to 3pm while both dinners are laid out from 6.30pm to 10pm. Reservations are recommended.

Diners will be entertained by a lion dance on Jan 29 at 11am.
