The warm light, combined with soft Christmas carols and songs in the background, make for a soothing and calming atmosphere to celebrate the season.
The carving section has lots of hearty food for those with big appetites.
Delight in juicy and tender oven-roasted whole turkey which comes with generous serving of chestnut stuffing, giblet and cranberry sauce and Brussels sprouts.
And the turkey roulade is exquisitely done. The meat is just succulent and perfect.
The pumpkin soup’s sweetness is felt in each spoonful and makes the perfect start to the meal.
Also available here are oysters, which are sprinkled with cheese, lending it a pleasant creamy and rich taste. If that is not enough, add some crispy fried tempura to your plate.
No Christmas dinner is complete without its desserts and this is where the restaurant shines with its wide selection of sweet confections.
A selection of cakes, pies and cookies are arranged elegantly in a Christmas-themed section, which makes it very inviting to try out.
Take a spoon of the ginger panna cotta and experience the rich divine mix of creamy, sweet and sharp fruity flavours all in one mouthful.
The Christmas stollen is a must-try. The top crust contrasts nicely against the fluffy texture within. There is also an assortment of traditional Christmas cookies, if you are looking for a crunchier bite.
I particularly like the glazed star-shaped cinnamon cookies for their chewy taste and texture.
There are also assorted cookies and cute gingerbread cookies which are not to be missed.
Creamy, soft-textured and delightfully sweet, the strawberry cheesecake is simply lovely.
Lest we forget the lemon meringue tart, a small serving but no less tasty.
With its firm pastry holding its shape, the lemon custard filling’s soft within is a divine indulgence.
Head chef Aiman Shahmi Abd Malek, 22, said it took three days to ensure all the ingredients were correctly prepared before curating the dishes.
Having served in restaurants in Spain and Dubai, he was glad to share his culinary vision with the diners at Villa Danieli.
