My Friends Tigger & Pooh is a series that airs on Disney Junior (Astro, channel 613). It's about Pooh, Tigger and the gang who solve “mysteries” with their friend – a girl named Darby. The mysteries are usually simple things that require a bit of problem-solving.
This movie sees the gang ready to receive Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Everyone know what they want to Christmas – Pooh wants honey (of course) and Eeyore reveals that he wants to fly! A tall order indeed but anything is possible at Christmas, right?
While outside playing, Roo and Lumpy meet a reindeer named Holly who is stuck in some branches. They can't seem to help Holly and decide it's best to call the Super Sleuths.
Not being able free Holly by pulling, the gang decide to push instead. It works and Holly is soon free.
Holly explains that she was looking for Santa's bag of presents. Without it, Santa will not be able to deliver all the presents to the kids and Christmas would have to be cancelled!
Roo and Lumpy remember seeing the red bag in the snow and promptly run off to get it.
Now, there's another problem for the sleuths to solve – how to get the bag and Holly back to Santa! They'll have to keep walking north, but how will they know which is north?
It's a simple enough movie with a few educational things for kids – how to look for clues, how to go north, and ways to work together to overcome problems.
In addition, there are bonus episodes – Symphony for a Rabbit/ Tigger Goes Snowflakey and one from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse – Daisy in the Sky. There's also a game for kids to play – 100 Acre Wood Downhill Game.
Small children will enjoy this one but I'm not sure it's worth the price of RM39.90. Only for fans of My Friends Tigger & Pooh. - Review by S.N.
