Revenge literally starts off with a bang – someone gets shot at the beach during an engagement party. Immediately after, it flashes back a few months to the time when a certain Emily Thorne arrives at the Hamptons. Besides the great start, the series has its share of charm, including themed parties, pretty people, quotable quotes and a heroine bent on taking down an unscrupulous rich family. All this is nicely rounded up with the juicy murder mystery from the first episode.
