The words “exclusive”, “invite only”, “star studded” and “cocktails” are the perfect ingredients for a potentially magical night and are guaranteed to entice most of us into attending an event. I, for one, am a total sucker for anything that remotely hints that I am a “chosen one”.

One balmy November night in Sydney, I truly did feel like the “chosen one” as I walked the red carpet flanked by hundreds of eager, excitable fans leading into The Sydney Café. It smacked of Hollywood glamour and a girl can only dream that all these people were awaiting her arrival.
