Whether or not you find Jericho interesting, it is a series that already has a place in TV history. When word leaked out that the series would be discontinued after its first season, die-hard fans decided to do more than create “Save Jericho” websites and send emails to the network.
They started a campaign that saw boxes containing nuts being sent to CBS’ corporate offices in the United States (the mention of “nuts” is made at the end of season one). As boxes of nuts flooded its offices, the network got the message; early this month, it ordered seven more episodes of Jericho.
