The brand new season of American Idol is back on Star World, premiering with a two-night, four-hour event beginning on Jan 17 at 8pm.  

With just under 43 million viewers and over 63 million votes during last year’s finale in the United States, and with local spin-offs in 30 different countries, the Idol phenomenon has taken the world by storm, each year gaining more momentum and fanfare as it determines the next big icon in music.
